The French bowl for Paris lovers

  • The iconic Breton bowl made in Pornic
  • Quality earthenware
  • THE gift for Paris lovers

The Breton bowl is iconic. The tradition is to bring it back as a souvenir of summer vacations in Brittany. I remember going to a souvenir shop and looking for my name among the hundreds of Breton bowls pesonnalized with French names.

Discover a modern version of the Breton bowl: a fully white earthenware bowl with a royal blue edge and the calligraphed French words: 'Parisienne' (Parisian - feminine). Definitely a great gift for a friend or loved one who loves Paris (or for you!).

This Breton bowl can be used for breakfast (cereals, tea, hot chocolate…), for desserts or for snacks for example. It's dishwasher safe and it can go to the microwave.

Also exists with different French words and designs: Amoureuse (In love - feminine)Jolie Maman (Beautiful mum), la Merveille (the Wonder - feminine), Puce (sweetie - feminine) and Chaton (sweetie - neutral)

Brand story

Margot and Gabrielle are first cousin from Arcachon Bay. Their common passion for design led them to create their brand: Pied de Poule.

They revisit traditional French kitchenware and tableware like glasses, tea towels or bowls. Their inspiration comes from their memories of traditional family dinners, vintage fashion and tableware of their grandmother, refined tea times… And they add their own modern and poetic touch.

Their version of the traditional French bowl is a must have for everyone in the family!
