My Paris Favorites - December 10, 2023

 By Mathilde Vuillemenot

Bonjour bonjour!

December is a bustling month, so this morning I decided to take a short break at the Rodin museum. It's one of my favorites museums in Paris; I love the sculptures and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't expect any Christmas decor in a museum, so the Christmas Tree was a delightful surprise! Gorgeous, right?

 My inspirations of the moment

I enjoyed reading this article from Vogue : Where the First-Ever Female Head Chef at the Ritz Paris Eats on Her Days Off. The author makes us feel like we were with her and the Chef in the backstage of the restaurant. And the food spots shared by Chef Eugenie Béziat seem wonderful, I've added them to my 'want to go' list.

I was searching for a new eyeshadow palette for holiday celebrations and found a limited edition for Christmas by Terry, with a lovely Paris decor. I hope to have time this week to buy it; I'd like to test it for my first Christmas celebration next weekend.

❤️ My latest favorites in Paris

The famous hotel Le Ritz Paris is celebrating its 125th anniversary, and they've set up a special event for Christmas. They've installed an extraordinary Carousel at Place Vendome. It's so beautiful! And, well, as I'm not into jumping into the Carousel, I went to their Christmas chalet where they offer Christmas pastries. Delicious!

This week I spent 2 evenings strolling in Paris to admire the Christmas lights. Want to get a snapshot of what it looks like? I've posted a short video on Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok. I'll be sharing new videos of Paris Christmas lights throughout this week!
