My Paris Favorites - February 10, 2024

Bonjour bonjour!

I'm in Normandy for the weekend, close to the cool Mont Saint Michel. We've got a nice family beach house where we enjoy hanging out together. This weekend is extra special because we're celebrating my brother's 30th birthday. Also, it's Carnival time, and my nephews are super hyped, getting ready for the parades and all the fun in the streets.

✨ My inspirations of the moment

We're right in the middle of the 'Mimosa Festival' here in France. Last Sunday, I wandered around Paris, and every florist had these amazing mimosa displays. They were stunning! Couldn't resist and got myself a big bouquet – it adds such a lovely pop of color to the home decor. I came across this article that has some cool mimosa decor ideas (it's in French, but the photos are the real gems for inspiration). Thought I'd share the inspiration with you. Enjoy the burst of color!

❤️​ My latest favorites in Paris

Tried out a cool pastry spot called L'éclair de génie. Their éclair selection is amazing, but that's not all – their croissants are fantastic too, filled with chocolate, pistachio, or vanilla ganache. The top spot is the Eclair de Génie café on Rue Montmartre, where you can chill and enjoy your pastry.

Netflix just dropped some neat Paris travel guides linked to their famous TV shows set in the city: 'The hidden Paris of Lupin,' 'Paris Turned Upside Down with Berlin,' 'The France of Emily's Dreams,' 'Sunny Weekend in the South,' 'A New Take on: Castles'... They're quick guides but packed with interesting suggestions. Enjoy exploring the guides!
