La Rochère is a French glassmaker since 1475. For centuries, La Rochère has been preserving and transmitting the traditional glassware know-how.

They created this original Renaissance design mixing the shape of a traditional Lyon « gobelet » (drinking cup) with an Italian pattern. The result is an elegant shape with a touch of modernity thanks to the grey color. Colored glassware is a great option for a unique tablescape.

From casual dining to chic events, you will always find an occasion to use this refined French glassware. Plus, they are made in sturdy, durable and easy to clean glass (dishwasher safe), they are resistant for an everyday use.

Brand story

La Rochère was founded in 1475, during the period called Middle Ages in France. It is located in the Vosges mountains (East of France), a region rich of wood, sand and silica the basics material to make glassware. The manufacture is the oldest traditional glassmaker still in activity in Europe.

Originally, the factory produced window glass; the diversification to glassware for Cafés and restaurants began in the 19th century. For centuries, La Rochère preserved and transmitted a traditional know-how. They are part of French glassware History and are distinguished as such today by the Label « Entreprise du patrimoine Vivant » (National Company with a Heritage).

Each Collection has a very unique story, inspired from the French History.
