Vintage French ceramic bottle with a pink and a yellow Rose design

  • Renowned French ceramic
  • Rare vintage find
  • Dual purpose: vase or decor

This vintage bottle is a very rare piece... and is absolutely gorgeous, right?

It comes from the renowned French dinnerware brand, Gien. This 200 years old manufacture is famous worldwide for the premium craftsmanship and the refinement of the designs.

Made in French earthenware, the bottle has an elaborate shape and a lovely design: there is a pink rose on one side and a yellow rose on the other side. So, when you're into refreshing your decor, you just need to turn around the bottle. Et voilà!

You can use this vintage ceramic bottle as a vase for fresh or dried flowers. It is also a lovely decor per itself, when enclosed with its stopper.

Our vintage products are in good conditions and were all clean. They may have some minor signs of age, including tiny chips.

Brand story

Faïencerie de Gien celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2021. Created in 1821, the manufacture settled on the banks of the river Loire, in the monastery Couvent des Minimes.
During the 19th century, Gien made famous for personalized collections for the European aristocratic families. In the early 1900s, Gien produced part of Paris metro tiles. And recently, Gien designed and produced exclusive collections for Versailles and Chambord castles. The crafting techniques remain today the same as 200 years ago and each product requires the know how of at least 30 different earthenware masters.
French people are proud to have Gien dinnerware. Collectors even display them on the wall! More commonly, Gien dinnerware is used for special events and fancy dinners. They are emblematic of the art of the French table.
